I am a sculptor and painter who uses characters to create distance from my work,

rather than depicting things directly. I’m drawn to the Absurd, and I explore both the

serious and humorous sides of human personality. My work looks at the tension

between our inner and outer selves, especially the challenge of being authentic and

the vulnerability that comes with it. I’m also interested in our deep need to connect

with others and with our own Self and am leaning ever more into the abstract.
