More MA News…..CLaSH artist Shirley Sharp has had her application accepted for Masters Degree in Fine Art at Bath Spa University starting this September. This is great news for CLaSH as a collaborative art space as we will have 2 artists studying at Masters level. Well done Shirley!!

Drawing makes Derwent Art Prize 2016
Shirley Sharp’s Drawing ‘The Guardian stays close to the troubled mind’ has been selected for the prestigious Derwent Art Prize 2016. On display at Mall Galleries, London from 19-24 September. This year 1,193 artists submitted a total of 3,299 works of art from around the world, form these 72 works by 68 artists have been chosen for the exhibition and Shirley is one of them. By the panel of distinguished selectors, Meryl Ainslie, Michael Glover and Eileen Cooper RA.

We are delighted to announce our next open doors event. Inviting the community to come and see what we do at Clash artspace as part of the Thornbury Carnival Fringe.
You are all welcome . You can expect to see us working across all forms of fine art, illustration and design, including drawing, painting, felt making, stained glass and glass infusion.
So come along, have a drink and chat to the artists in this new and exciting artspace in the heart of Thornbury.
